I live in Wilkes with my husband, Josh, my two teenaged kids, Abbi & Noah, bonus son, Elijah, two cats and one dog (who thinks she's a princess).

I have been with Shew Ridge since 2020 and a photographer since 2011 (yikes, that's a long time). I was formerly known as "Kari V" at my previous solo studio! I am also a Pediatric Early Intervention Speech Therapist.  Neither of my jobs are "work" and I am blessed to enjoy what I do!

What do I like to shoot? Mini sessions and family sessions are my jam! I don't get to shoot as much as I used to because, well, life... but when I do, I enjoy every second of it.

My style is a mix of traditional posed shots and lifestyle candids.  You get the best of both worlds with me. My sessions are goofy, fun and fast-paced (so the dads don't complain!). I also have experience with children with special needs since I am a speech therapist. I'd be honored to be your photographer!
