"My passion as a photographer is to create Cherished Memories that last a lifetime."
My love for photography came at a very young age. As far back as I can remember my grandmother and I would play photographer for hours and hours. We would take turns posing each other with different props or in different outfits and even go for rides just looking for new places to take photos. We would stop on the side of the road to take photos with beautiful mountain views, wildflowers, or even rocks (lol). To this day one of my favorite things to do is look back at old photos and tell stories of the memories they hold. In 2005 I took the leap and officially started my photography career and in 2020 I proudly joined the Shew Ridge Photography team.
My husband, Eric Scott, and I have been together for over 20 years... yes that's right 20 YEARS! We met at Myrtle Beach on my senior beach trip and 8 years later got married there as well. Our son, Easton, is our couscous, safety first, must plan everything child who loves to hunt, fish, and play Nintendo. Then there's our daughter, Emma, who loves makeup, fairytales, and rainbows; she is a free spirit who is so caring and thoughtful but comes with a warning sticker if you make her mad. We also have two long-haired German Shepherds, Xena and Loki, who are the icing on the cake to our little family.
