Hi guys! I'm Katie, owner and head photographer here at Shew Ridge! I have always loved taking pictures, so with a lot of prayers and a shove from my husband, my dream came true! I am blessed with a wonderful, supportive husband & family. God has given me three beautiful children and two bonus children! As a child, my life was not ordinary in many ways. I bounced from foster home to foster home until I was ten. Then my wonderful parents came into my life, changing my world forever. Having very few of my own early childhood pictures made me cherish my children's pictures so much more. A big part of the reason I'm so passionate about photography is wanting my children to have those special moments to keep forever! I love to meet families and when you have a session with us here you become family we love to get to know you. Photography is fun and such a blessing! I am the head newborn photographer, birth photographer, and wedding photographer. I believe blessings should be shared and I have an awesome team. I am blessed with three awesome shooters here at Shew Ridge, for that I give all my thanks to God!
