I’m Krista, a new and upcoming photographer for Shew Ridge Photography. Although I’m new to the photography world, I am honored to be here among such talented women and I truly believe that whatever your passion is, you should pursue. So that’s exactly what I’ve done, pursued and learned everything I’ve ever loved, including photography. You only live once, right? But if you do it right, once is enough!

I’m originally from Los Angeles, but have lived in North Carolina for half my life…And have traveled everywhere in-between!!

When I was a child my dad always had a video camera or photography camera in our faces, my whole life is on film or in photo albums, and that’s where it started…My love for photography; for capturing precious moment we will never be able to feel twice. Little did I know, years later, those moments my dad captured would be my most prized possession! 

When I’m not practicing photography, you can usually find me with my amazing husband, our beautiful children (Amya, Amelia & Kashton) and our little rescue farm. I have a passion for animals, the outdoors, traveling, and making memories. I look forward to getting to know you and helping you document the most important moments of you and your families lives, for years to come!
