My love for photography came at a very young age. As far back as I can remember my grandmother and I would play photographer for hours and hours. We would take turns posing each other with different props or in different outfits and even go for rides just looking for new places to take photos. We would stop on the side of the road to take photos with beautiful mountain views, wildflowers, or even rocks (lol). To this day one of my favorite things to do is look back at old photos and tell stories of the memories they hold. In 2005 I took the leap and officially started my photography career and in 2020 I proudly joined the Shew Ridge Photography team. ​

My husband, Eric Scott, and I have been together for over 23 years... yes that's right 23 YEARS! We met at Myrtle Beach on my senior beach trip... fell in love and 8 years later got married on the beach. Our son, Easton, is our couscous / safety first kid who must stick to the plan at all times.  He can take apart anything and reassemble it with ease. He loves to hunt, fish, and of course play video games. Then there's our daughter, Emma, who loves makeup, fashion, softball, and is obsessed with Build-a-Bear.  She is a free spirit / social butterfly who is so caring and thoughtful but comes with a warning sticker if you make her mad. We also have two dogs, Loki, our guardian & goofball German Shepherd, and Dozer our insane mini bulldog. ​
